De oud koperprijs stijgen. In januari 2022 (tot 26 januari) steeg de prijs van koper op metaalbeurzen met 2-3%. In de eerste dagen van de maand was de prijs van koper $ 9.700 per ton en op 26 januari was de prijs van koper $ 9.960 per ton. Naarmate de prijs van koper op metaalbeurzen steeg, stegen ook de inkoop prijzen van koperschroot in verschillende landen. Volgens de website scraprice.com was de hoogste oud koperprijs voor 27 januari 2022 in Japan - tot 8000 Eur per ton. De oud koperprijs variëren van land tot land en hangen voornamelijk af van de prijs van koper op metaalbeurzen. De prijs van koperschroot hangt ook af van het prijsbeleid van de koper, dus hetzelfde type koperschroot kan op de ene plaats tegen een hogere prijs en op een andere tegen een lagere prijs worden gekocht. Koperschroot is gemakkelijk te verkopen omdat er kopers van koperschroot zijn in elk land, elke grotere stad. De prijs van koperschroot zijn de laatste tijd erg hoog, maar we zullen zien of ze in de nabije toekomst nog hoger worden
