LOM.LV Uznemums provides a full range of services related to, but not limited: collection, loading, sorting and transportation of scrap metal. Scrap metal is purchased at agreed price with partners in Riga and Riga`s region. We have a licenses: for old cars recycling and removing it from the records; for transportation of scrap metal, providing our trucks and containers, including special transport, for collection of scrap metal.The main activity of the company is carried out on the left bank of the Daugava river in Riga and the Riga`s regions. For construction companies we provide services for disassembling of various heavy equipment, ventilation systems, warehouses and workshops. Scrap metal is purchased both from natural persons (for this they need identity documents and a current account number) as well as from legal entities. Personal income tax is paid on the purchase of scrap metal from natural persons. Acceptance of scrap metal takes place at our acceptance points, as well as at the customer's place. In that case, road transport is offered. If necessary, we offer a highly qualified workforce. Working hours at reception points are 8:00-17:00, from Monday to Friday. Weighing takes place on our electronic scales, followed by scrap quality and pricing. The preparation of documents takes place on the spot. Payment is made within 48 hours. Scrap metal is purchased both from natural persons (personal identity documents and payment account number are required for this) as well as from legal entities. Personal income tax is paid when purchasing scrap metal from natural persons. For legal entities, the price does not include VAT. Recycled metal (we are talking only about black metal scrap) is divided into two categories, containing carbon (steel scrap and waste and cast iron scrap and waste) according to the appearance of the alloying element (A-carbon B-alloying), into 28 species according to quality indicators and into 67 groups according to the presence of alloying elements. When accepting scrap metal, 3% of the total weight is deducted for pollution.
