Scrap metal purchase prices Sweden. For those of you who ordered pick-up of scrap, we ask you to go through the following points below. This is so that we can maintain probably the market's lowest transport price. The scrap must be in direct connection to a passable road. By passable road is meant that a truck that weighs 20-30 tons must be able to get around unhindered. The scrap must be collected in one and the same place so we do not have to make 2-3 stops at the same yard / pick-up point. It is very easy for us if we can take the scrap without you being home. Applicable metals, such as copper, brass, electric motors & lead batteries etc. So we reckon that they are included in the collection of scrap. If you want full payment for the metals, they must either be well sorted and packed. Alternatively, you bring them in to us yourself and get paid in full. Exceptions are of course for larger volumes. All small scrap, under 0.5 meters must be placed in bathtubs, barrels or similar packaging so it is easy to take. Cutting scrap generates half the payment of the agreed scrap price. Cutting scrap is difficult to define, but the basic concept is as follows: Oil tanks that are not very small are always cutting scrap. due to that they are so bulky and have to be cut apart to achieve load weights when we sell the scrap. Please note that the manhole cover must be unscrewed and the tank must be completely empty when we collect your oil tank. Other cutting scrap can be scrap that is: Too large to load in an optimal way. Scrap that is too coarse to ship as is. Or too bulky to ship as is. Some examples: Oil tanks, truck trailers, carts with rough axles, etc. We are not at all as strict as the big companies and always try to do what is best for the customer, we can sell it as mixed scrap, you get paid for mixed scrap. You can always call and ask beforehand.
