Rekordprisen på skrapmetall stiger fortsatt. Skrapmetallprisene stiger kraftig. I de tre første månedene av 2022 steg skrapmetallprisene med rundt 30 %. I følge nettstedet scraprice.com, i mars 2022, var prisen på skrapmetall i Tyrkia den høyeste på rundt 470 euro per tonn. Det er mulig at en så høy pris på skrapmetall er den høyeste i historien og aldri har vært det før. Hvorfor prisen på skrapmetall er så høy vil vi sannsynligvis ikke finne et eneste svar. Det er mulig at etterspørselen etter metallråvarer har økt veldig sterkt på grunn av hendelsene i Ukraina eller andre årsaker.
